Šumska idila Holiday Home (“we”) respects your privacy and protects your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU 2016/679) and the applicable laws of the Republic of Croatia.

2. What data we collect

We only collect data you provide yourself, through the contact form on this website, by e-mail, by phone or by message (WhatsApp). This may include your name, e-mail address, phone number and the content of your message (dates, number of guests, questions).

3. Purpose of processing

We use your data solely to answer your enquiry, arrange and manage your booking and stay, communicate with you before, during and after your stay, and meet legal obligations (guest registration in the eVisitor system). Your data is not used for advertising, you are not profiled, and your data is not sold.

Processing is based on your consent (by sending an enquiry), the performance of the accommodation contract and our legal obligation to register guests.

5. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use analytics or marketing cookies. Only technically necessary cookies required for the website and the contact form are used. The embedded Google map on the Contact page may set Google cookies under Google’s privacy policy.

6. Bookings via platforms

If you book via Airbnb or Booking.com, your data is processed by that platform under its own privacy rules. This policy applies only to data you give us directly.

7. Data retention

Enquiry data is kept for the duration of the communication and your stay, then deleted, except for data we are legally required to keep (guest records, invoices).

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your data, the right to data portability and the right to object. Send your request to sumskaidila2026@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).
